The Verdant Vistas Kids of 2007

Verdant Vistas offers you a rainbow of gorgeous kids and raw and processed fiber--reds, browns, blacks, caramels and whites. Our youngsters are all sold and left Verdant Vistas in June & July, 2007. These kids come from our four award-winning bucks to assure quality and choice. Pygora Breeders Association (PBA) registration numbers are included with buck & doe info so you may look up family histories in the online herdbook that is available on the PBA website. This is a group we will miss very much but, without exception, they are going to terrific new homes!

Notes: These pretty caramel kids are sold and going to OR, MN & AR. Nannerl is larger and a little more slender. Sister Cascade and brother are solid &square--and all are covered with gorgeous soft, wavy caramel coats. They're affectionate & playful, with a strong & competent mom (who longs for times past when she only had one little girl to care for!).

 Notes: Very square and bucky fellow. His conformation is great and his color very special. Is calm and capable young man. Nice thick coat. He's mister personality plus; charms both goat & human girls. Quite irresistible! Heading to Arkansas as Herd Sire--wonder if the state is ready for this formidable force?!.

Boy is very bucky: large, strong & wonderful fleece; he won the Junior Championship at the 2007 Bold & Beautiful Buck Show! Damsel will make an equally super doe & mom herself. Lad is going to Duluth, MN, & lass to Whidbey Island, WA.

Notes: We have our very good (and very skilled) friend to thank for these beauties*. She pulled them from Breda when things looked bleak. Now they are healthy, lively & lovely (as is mom) and growing fast. Their coats are wonderfully black, soft & silky. They're fun-loving and adventurous. They are living in Brownsville and Sisters, OR.

Notes: These kids are really super. They have the L'Nino/Timber/Killian/Ian beautiful faces. Boys are neutered. The three look gold and silver in the sunlight! Coats are exceptionally soft. They all have personalities plus--great fun! Boys are living in Salem and Hester in Brownsville, OR.

Notes: These beautiful, matched-set siblings are typical Lula--very much just like her. Their coats are exceptionally curly this time--marvelous kids! Both are solid and strong, playful and charming. Their mom and aunt are exceptional kidders and kid- rearers so we're sure these two will also give their new owners in Minnesota & Florida terrific offspring.

Notes: Mom Molly prefers one black doeling and always showers her with lots of love and care. The TLC shows and this gal is sweet & confident. She has a lovely, thick, soft coat of the blackest black. She'll no doubt make a wonderful mom like her own & Aunt Velvet. Isabelle went to the Diamond 3 Fiber farm in Duluth, MN, with Paul Bunyon.

Notes: We're keeping Dwaine who will follow in sire Arvydas' footsteps. All three kids have wonderfully shiny, curly coats. These are real beauties! All reflect the deep black color and wonderful fleeces of their parents. The girls are going to Brainerd, MN, and to Whidbey Island, WA.

Notes: Shimeeka 'gave' this fellow to Mandy to raise after a very difficult kidding night. So, he now has 2 great sisters to replace the ones he lost. He's lively, mischievous and packaged in a super soft, wavy &shiny black coat. Will be a terrific pet and fiber producer! He goes down the interstate to Coburg, OR, with step-sister Ebony.

This year, we especially want to thank our wonderful friend and expert goat breeder (36 years of raising Dairy & Pygmy Goats) Marie Layman, Briar-Rose Farm, for her help & support (and critical milk supply) in getting our kids delivered and off to a good start. Her assistance was essential in Breda's, Shimeeka's & Mandy's kids being healthy and thriving today.
